The Port in St Francis became a hive of activity from the 6-9 July 2011 as Anglers took part in the Port St Francis Ski Boat & Yacht Club Tuna Marlin Challenge 2011. The event was run with the help from many sponsors, to name a few...Bayview Boating and Suzuki SA, SA Airlink, Regent Insurance, Kouga Marine, Atlantis Fishing Charters, Vaughn Victor Farming, the Van Vuuren Family Trust, Bols Brandy and Coca Cola...a big thank you to EVERYONE for their support!

The winner of the competition was Tim Christy with a 28.5kg Tuna, caught off Johnny Walker. He won a 3m Suzumar Rubber Duck and a 15hp 4-stroke Suzuki Outboard Motor to the value of R36 000. |

The second prize went to Hein Van Rooyen with a 25,3kg fish caught off Punkt Lager. He won a 3m Suzumar Rubber and a 9.9hp 4-stroke Suzuki Outboard Motor to the value of R30 000. |

Third overall was Phillip de Lange with a 24kg Tuna off Fun Days Too. The top boat prize went to Fun Days Too with a cumulative combined weight of two fish per day per boat, 69kg, skippered by Ian Burrell. They won 4 return air tickets to Pemba in Mozambique, sponsored by SA Airlink. |

Ladies winner was Samantha Kelly with a 22kg Tuna, caught off Tuckshop. She won a cash prize of R3000, R1000 Jeep Voucher and 2 fishing reels. |
